Phuket Pavilions on Target for June 2005 Opening

Boutique resort developer Pavilions Resorts has confirmed that construction of its newest project, Phuket Pavilions, is progressing quickly, and remains on target to open in June 2005. The hill top location of the Phuket Pavilions site proved to be a refuge during December’s tsunami waters and there was no damage to any part of the site or structures. The construction team is continuing at full strength and the development remains set to open this June 2005.
Phuket has long been dubbed the Jewel of the Andaman for its pristine white sand beaches and turquoise waters. Hong Kong based Pavilions Resorts cites the beautiful natural environment, superb dining and entertainment, wide choice of leisure activities, and the sophisticated infrastructure as strong reasons for choosing Phuket as the location for its flagship property.

Phuket Pavilions is a luxury resort of 30 Modern-Asia styled pool villas, boasting a guest experience of ‘Intimate Escapes’. The 21 one bedroom pool pavilions feature stunning ocean views and a spacious open plan design. The impressive layout of 300 sq meters of total area includes individual 12 x 4 m infinity pools, sundecks, and an outdoor sala in total privacy. The 9 three bedroom pool villas also reflect the same decadent indoor-outdoor living with 600 square meters of area and sweeping views of the island.

The personal experience begins with in-room check in, private dining in the pavilion and continues with an in-suite spa menu. Sales & Marketing Director of Pavilions, Karie-Ann Carpenter says “The only negative side of any spa treatment is leaving that tranquil environment. Massage and body treatments in the comfort of your own room are the ultimate in relaxation. Creating a personal and private environment is one of the key ingredients of the Pavilions Intimate Escape concept”.

The all pool-villa resort has confirmed other offerings which will include complimentary hotel shuttle to secluded Layan Beach, wireless broadband in every room, satellite television and CD/VCD player, as well as a personal movie and music library.

Phuket Pavilions’ exclusive address in the Bang Tao Bay area enjoys close proximity to the established Laguna complex of shopping and dining, as well as three world class golf courses nearby. The quiet and unspoiled beaches of Bang Tao, Layan and dazzling Sirinat National Park are a short five minutes away from the resort.
