By Ben KilbeyThere is good news for the Caribbean island of St. Kitts, the up-and-coming destination will be featured on Channel 4’s ‘A Place in the Sun’ on Thursday January 27 at 8pm. The show will highlight that the ‘Next Caribbean Adventure’ is a good investment for owners wishing to acquire a home abroad.A St. Kitts Tourist Board spokesperson commented:

“this not only showcases St. Kitts as an up-and-coming holiday destination - but also a destination to invest in a holiday home. It is comparable with purchasing a holiday home in Europe - highlighting the accessibility of St. Kitts from the UK.”

Ricky Skerritt, St. Kitts newly appointed minister of tourism, commented:

“Reaching such a large market via this medium is the most impactful and cost effective way possible for such a small destination like ours. Hopefully the audience of this popular show will get memorable real-life glimpses of what makes our destination so special and desireable for a getaway vacation and as a place to invest.”

Excel services St. Kitts weekly on a Saturday. St. Kitts is accessible daily via connections from Antigua.
