SAS Challenge Travel Agents to Test their Knowledge

On 17 January 2005, SAS Scandinavian Airlines is launching a fantastic online game and competition for travel agents to see how good they are at meeting the needs of today’s travellers.
The game is a light-hearted test of knowledge that involves offering eight demanding customers the right type of product in just one minute.  If they succeed in making the customer happy they will have the chance of winning an evening at a restaurant of their choice worth £250.  There are three runner-up prizes of a pair of return tickets to any direct Scandinavian destination from the UK.

To play, agents need to visit where they can then pit their wits against travel industry colleagues around the UK and see where they come in the ranking system.  The competition closes on 18 February.

SAS General Manager Lars-Ove Filipson said:  “The game is designed to remind travel bookers about the three distinct and different ways of travel SAS has created; Business, Economy Flex and Economy.  We want to ensure that UK Travel agents are offering their customers choice
and value for money when choosing to travel with SAS Scandinavian Airlines.”
