12th Jan 2005

AirTran Airways, a
subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. , today announced that the airline
has signed a joint marketing agreement with Walt Disney World Resort, in
Lake Buena Vista, Fla. The agreement will allow customers of AirTran
Airways to book Walt Disney World vacations seamlessly with one internet
session or telephone call. The agreement covers all AirTran Airways flights into Central Florida,
where the airline’s number of daily flights has doubled since 2000. After
booking their airfare with an arriving flight in Orlando, customers will
be offered a variety of Walt Disney World Resort vacation options from
which to choose—including packaged vacations and theme park tickets.

“We are pleased to partner with an innovative company such as Walt Disney
World, and are confident that our customers will enjoy the convenience of
planning their Disney vacation with one stop at or
one call to 800-AIR-TRAN,” stated Tad Hutcheson, AirTran Airways’ director
of marketing. “AirTran Airways is proud to add Walt Disney World to our
list of corporate partners, which already includes American Express, The
Coca-Cola Company, The Hertz Corporation and Juniper Bank.”

“Having an online presence with one of America’s largest low-fare
airlines, will make booking a Walt Disney World Resort Vacation both
convenient and hassle-free,” said Trisha Warne, Director Destination Sales
for Walt Disney World Resort. “This new relationship will enable us to
extend the distribution of our product by offering Disney vacations to the
many loyal AirTran Airways customers.”
