Song Celebrates Its 10 Millionth Passenger

Song, Delta Air Lines’ high-style,
low-fare air service, is celebrating service to its 10 millionth passenger
today, a Boston resident, less than two years after officially launching
in April 2003. Song will honor the lucky customer and her family of four
with a reception in the Song ticketing area at Logan International Airport
today before they board the 3:10 p.m. Song Flight 2015 to Orlando
International Airport. Song, the official air service of Boston Red Sox Spring Training, will
present the 10 millionth passenger and her family with a trip to a Red Sox
2005 Spring Training game in Ft. Myers in March, including 5 round-trip
tickets on Song, tickets to the game and accommodations in a local hotel.
Song will also present her with a new handbag from Kate Spade, who
designed Song’s flight attendant uniforms.

“We are thrilled to celebrate Song’s 10 millionth passenger today, less
than two years after we officially launched our service,” said Joanne
Smith, acting president of Song. “We couldn’t be happier that 10 million
passengers have experienced Song’s innovative entertainment features,
organic food offerings, in-flight fitness program, and of course, our
everyday low fares and stylish service. We look forward to our next such
major milestone.”

Song, Delta’s award-winning, low-fare service, provides non-stop service
between major cities in the Northeast United States and key Florida
leisure destinations, plus Atlanta, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Nassau and San
Juan. Utilizing a fleet of thirty-six 199-seat, one-class Boeing 757s,
Song provides more than 140 daily flights. All Song aircraft are equipped
with personal video monitors at each seat, offering a wide array of
entertainment features—accessible via touch-screen technology—
including: live, satellite television; movies on-demand; MP3 programming
from more than 1,600 songs and video games.

Customers can use credit card or cash to make purchases onboard. Song
presently serves all three New York metro area airports—JFK, Newark and
LaGuardia—the only low-fare service to do so. All Song flights are
