The Regent Esplanade Zagreb Opens

The Regent Esplanade Zagreb, a landmark property in Croatia, has opened.Ê Originally constructed in 1925, the hotel is one of the most well-known buildings in the capital of Croatia, originally built for the travellers of The Orient Express.Ê After an extensive 15 million EUR (approx. $20.1 million U.S.) renovation, the former Hotel Esplanade has re-opened as The Regent Esplanade Zagreb.

Renowned for its highly personalized service, the hotel has become an important part of Zagreb’s social life, counting numerous politicians and celebrities among its guests.Ê

The Regent Esplanade Zagreb Hotel is a landmark building that offers modern comforts while retaining the charm of its original Art Nouveau design. The hotel has 207 guestrooms, a restaurant, a cocktail bar and a French bistro complete with a glazed conservatory and outdoor terrace extending on to one of Zagreb’s elegant piazzas. While relaxing in luxury, guests can enjoy the fine cuisine and selected local and international wines.
