United is pleased to have reached tentative agreements with both the Professional
Airline Flight Control Association (PAFCA) and the Transport Workers Union
(TWU) on the cost savings the company needs to secure the exit financing
necessary to restructure successfully. The tentative agreements will now go out to the members of both unions for
ratification. PAFCA’s ratification vote is expected to be complete by
January 6. TWU is expected to have ratification voting completed by
January 5. At this time, United will not be discussing or disclosing the
terms of either of these tentative agreements.
