Travelers have spoken, earning 13 Fairmont Hotels & Resorts recognition on the 2005 “T+L 500”, Travel + Leisure magazine’s annual “ultimate hotel guide”.Ê Fairmont’s Canadian properties made a particularly strong showing including top hotel in the city status for Quebec City’s iconic Fairmont Le Ch‰teau Frontenac, Vancouver’s sleek Fairmont Waterfront and Ottawa’s polished Fairmont Ch‰teau Laurier plus a new entry by family favorite Fairmont Le Ch‰teau Montebello.

T+L rates the legendary Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, and Fairmont Banff Springs at the peak of luxury resorts in the Canadian Rockies, taking the second, third and fifth place spots in Alberta. Fairmont’s Hawaiian resorts lead the way for the United States with The Fairmont Kea Lani Maui voted number two hotel on Maui, and the Fairmont Orchid making the list for the Big Island.Ê Fairmont was also proud to note that both the newly acquired Monte Carlo Grand, which will be renamed The Fairmont Monte Carlo in March 2005, and London’s famous Savoy hotel, which will Fairmont will manage effective closure of sale in January 2005, were also featured.
