SPECIAL FLIGHT FROM THE MALEDIVES EXPANDS AUSTRIAN AIR-LIFT FROM THE CRISIS-REGION IN SOUTH EAST ASIA

The Austrian Airlines Group departed with one more special flight into the crisis region in South East Asia. Since there is already an Austrian special flight on the way to Colombo/Sri Lanka since today morning (the return for this flight is scheduled for tomorrow morning 5 a.m.) a further jet, a Boeing 737-800 with 184 seats, has been sent from the operational action committee via Dubai to Malé on the Maledives.

The arrival of this flight in Malé is scheduled for 4.a.m. local time, the departure from Malé to Vienna at 5:30 a.m. local time. This evacuation flight is expected to arrive in Vienna tomorrow, 30th of December at 1:30 p.m.
