Vail Resorts and United Team Up

Vail Resorts and United Airlines are working
together again to offer skiers and snowboarders a chance to ski for free at North
America’s top ski resorts of Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone. By
taking advantage of this year’s Carve Diem promotion, winter enthusiasts who fly
to Colorado on United, United Express or Ted between Jan. 4 - Feb. 4, 2005, will
earn a complimentary one-day lift ticket that can be used during their stay in
Colorado. Skiers and snowboarders will also find it easier to get to the slopes with
United’s increased daily service from Denver International Airport to the
Vail/Eagle County Airport. With United’s two additional flights, travelers will
have a choice of six flights per day from Denver to Vail. “We’re thrilled to be working with United to grow business for both companies,”
said Chris Jarnot, vice president of marketing and sales for Vail Resorts. “Vail
Resorts is the leading provider of world-class vacations in Colorado, and United
Airlines carries a majority of vacationers to the state. We’re an excellent
match.”
“United realizes how much our customers look forward to enjoying Colorado’s ski
season every year,” said Martin White, senior vice president of marketing for
United. “To make this year’s ski season even more enjoyable, we are offering our
customers a free day of skiing. Vail Resorts has some of the best ski resorts in the
U.S. and our additional service into Vail/Eagle County Airport will give our
customers quicker and easier access to the mountains.”
