Hilton Family Earns Business Traveler Accolades

Hilton Hotels Corporation announced today that it has been presented with five awards at the 16th Annual Business Traveler magazine “Best in Business Travel Awards,” held at a recent awards luncheon in New York City. Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, spoke on behalf of SOS Children’s Villages and joined Publisher John DeCesare on stage during the awards ceremony. Business Traveler magazine each year surveys its readers—among the most frequent business travelers in the world—to attain their nominations for airlines, hotels, reward programs, credit card companies, websites and other travel-related companies. Approximately 30 awards were announced. This year, Hilton Hotels Corporation won two first-place awards, recognizing Hampton Inn, the national brand of mid-priced hotels, and HHonors, the Hilton Family guest reward program:

—Best Economy Hotel Chain for Business Travel—Hampton Inn

—Tied for Best Hotel Rewards Program—Hilton HHonors

The Hilton brand also won:

—2nd place in the “Best First-Class Hotel Chain for Business Travel”


—2nd place in the “Best Latin-American Hotel Chain for Business Travel”

—3rd place in the “Best Domestic Hotel Chain for Business Travel”
