RCI Creates New Role to Grow Travel Revenues

Martin Andrew has been appointed as Commercial Director, Travel, UK & Ireland for RCI Europe & Middle East, the global leader in timeshare exchange and subsidiary of Cendant Corporation, to spearhead the growth in sales of travel products to RCI members, and to loyalty club customers.Andrew will also be responsible for sales of RCI Holiday Network, RCI’s trade brand selling accommodation to travel agents.Ê In addition to exploiting current revenue opportunities, Andrew’s remit involves the development of a sales framework to strengthen directional selling and create new streams of income.

Andrew has extensive experience in the travel industry and prior to joining RCI in a consultancy role last year, was Head of Commercial Sales with MyTravel for three years.Ê He previously worked in a variety of commercial and sales roles spanning a 12 year period at several of MyTravel’s subsidiaries including Travelworld, Going Places and Hogg Robinson.

Speaking of his appointment, Martin Andrew commented: “RCI’s travel business has enormous growth potential and I’m excited at the challenge ahead”.Ê

Martin will report to Paul Carter, RCI Europe & Middle East’s Vice President of Travel & Leisure Rental Division. .

Sara Chick has been promoted to Travel Sales Manager at RCI, reporting directly to the newly appointed Commercial Director, to help the operational team develop a more robust sales environment and improve segment penetration.
