SAS to Launch Innovative Christmas Fares

From December 1, there will be door-opening on SAS’s website. For the third consecutive year, SAS is offering its customers an online advent calendar, where a new door is opened at 8:00 a.m. every morning, containing an exciting destination at a highly favorable price.
Every door conceals a new destination that can be booked for a period of 24 hours. The final offer will be published on Christmas Eve. The period of travel is from January 1 through March 25, 2005.

“This year, we are offering an online advent calendar with flights for prices that can compete well with conventional Christmas gifts,” says Lennart Johansson, Marketing and sales Manager at Scandinavian Airlines in Sweden.

It is also possible to subscribe for the advent calendar offers through “SAS Christmas Post” directly via e-mail.

“For those who are curious, we can reveal already now that, for example, Stockholm-Shanghai will be hidden behind one of the doors at a price of SEK 4,900,” says Lennart Johansson. Another price example is Stockholm-Paris for SEK 1,190.

Booking is only possible at the airlines website www.sas.se. The price example includes taxes and fees.
