BodyHoliday launches ‘05 packages
The BodyHoliday at LeSPORT, St. Lucia, has set dates for four one-week retreats in 2005. Themes include increasing intuitive currency, weight management, yoga and stress management. Mar. 13-20, 2005, naturopathic doctor Penny Kendall-Reed guides participants on Weight Management in the 21st Century. Guests will be taught how to retrain their metabolism to use food as fuel, rather than being stored as fat. Dietary advice will be incorporated, along with counsel on the latest natural supplements which stabilize the hormones that control weight. Additionally, Dr. Kendall-Reed will address the role stress and lifestyle choices play in weight gain.
April 17-24, 2005, Doug Swenson and Joseph Michael Levry, also known as “Gurunam”, will lead The BodyHoliday’s Ultimate Yoga Experience in which participants will be immersed in Kundalini and Ashtanga yoga. Swenson is a master yoga practitioner, philosopher, author, poet and dedicated health advocate and Gurunam, who has studied, researched and taught Kundalini and Kaballah for 30 years, is CEO/founder of Universal Force and CEO of Rootlight Inc.
May 8-15, 2005, Dr. Kenford Nedd, an M.D. in Behavioral Medicine and Stress Management in Canada, will conduct a Stress Management retreat to equip participants with techniques to remove stress from communication, boost brain power, create positive energy in the workplace, build an action plan for stress relief at work and at home, build superior relationships and be happy and motivated in these current stressful times. Dr. Nedd has been cited as one of the top ten speakers by the Journal of the American Society of Association Executives.
