Azumano Travel Renews Galileo Contract

Galileo International today announced that the company has signed a five-year contract renewal
with Azumano Travel.  “Galileo has played a pivotal role in providing the content necessary to
drive our revenue, as well as the user-friendly tools that have maximized
efficiency with each booking, thus enhancing the range of products we are
able to offer our clients,” said Sho Dozono, president and CEO, Azumano
Travel. “We value Galileo’s strong sales support and account management
teams, and look forward to further developing our relationship with Galileo
in the years ahead.”

Azumano will continue to employ industry-leading tools and front office
desktop solutions such as Galileo’s NeatAgentTM.  This dynamic packaging
tool customizes travel packages from real-time inventory and pricing, which
allows a flexible mark-up on each package resulting in improved revenue
management capabilities. The agency will also benefit from Galileo’s Best
Available Rate program, which provides agents with access to the best
available published, non-restricted rates offered by participating
hoteliers. The program maximizes efficiency and provides content that drives
more bookings.

As one of the early adopters of the corporate travel solution technology
provided by Cendant-affiliate Travelport, Azumano has developed strong
relationships with area companies, enabling their employees to efficiently
book business travel online.  Offering functionality such as Travelport’s
Interactive Travel Manager, which enforces corporate travel policy, improves
revenue management and simplifies the booking process for both Azumano and
its clients.

“Through extended relationships with other Cendant Travel Distribution
businesses such as CheapTickets, Travelport Corporate Solutions,
Lodging.com, Neat, THOR as well as other Cendant-owned affiliates like RCI
Timeshare, we are much more than just a GDS and better positioned to drive
value and revenue growth for our travel agency customers,” said Bridgette
Christiansen, vice president of sales and account development for Galileo,
The Americas.  “We greatly appreciate Azumano’s vote of confidence in
Galileo and look forward to working closely together to help them meet their
business objectives over the coming years.”
