Tropicana Announces Reopening of Brighton Avenue

Brighton Avenue, between
Atlantic and Pacific Avenues, fully reopened today. The street was closed
to traffic during construction of Tropicana’s $285 million expansion
project, The Quarter. The project includes a new parking garage, a
502-room hotel tower and 200,000 square feet of dining, entertainment,
shopping & spa facilities.
Additionally, Tropicana announced today that all major construction on the
project is complete and tenants are fully fitting out their spaces while
training staff members. Therefore, we are anticipating an opening of the
garage, the new hotel tower and The Quarter to the public by Thanksgiving.
Achieving this targeted opening is dependent on no adverse impacts from
unusually bad weather, materials shortages, labor strife or other factors.

What’s to become Atlantic City’s most sensational, sultry and sizzling hot
new destination, The Quarter at Tropicana is the largest non-gaming
expansion project in the city’s history. Along with offering guests
first-rate dining, shopping and entertainment options, the Havana Tower at
The Quarter will add 502 new hotel rooms, 45,000 square feet of meeting
space, and 2,400 new parking spaces. When completed the entire Tropicana
will cover 14 acres.
