Singapore Airlines (SIA) has unveiled it’s newly enhanced Internet check-in facility. Customers can now check-in on the SIA website www.singaporeair.com.
Customers can select a seat from the interactive seat map, and will then receive an email or short message service (SMS) check-in confirmation.
SIA frequent flyers (PPS Club and KrisFlyer members) and registered users of the SIA website will be able to return to their check-in records to change their seats or cancel their check-in.
This service is currently available for all SIA flights with the exception of flights from some cities in Asia. Customers can check-in up to nine passengers at a time on the same reservation.
This enhancement of the Internet check-in facility is in addition to the suite of mobile services SIA is offering to its customers. Frequent flyers, registered users of the SIA website as well as customers who make bookings via the SIA website can subscribe for flight alerts via email and SMS, informing them of check-in availability, flight departure and other important flight information while on the move. The suite of mobile services is offered as part of SIA’s continuing efforts to provide customers with the best pre-flight experience.
