Joseph and Bush see some light at end of tunnel

Following Grenada’s William Joseph’s (Director of Tourism) comment that the hurricane damage caused by Ivan was of “Biblical proportions” the first two cruise ships since the hurricane were set to call this week. This is a positive in the vain of LeSource’s announcement that its Sailing Festival will take place in its designated time slot.In other hurricane related news McKeeva Bush, minister of tourism for the Cayman Islands, also sees some light after the mass devastation, claiming that he expects travel restrictions for Grand Cayman to be relaxed’ by the Immigration Department by the end of November. So reports Travel Weekly

Cayman Airways expects to launch its weekly Boston-Grand Cayman service Dec. 18.
