AirTran Airways Presented With Media Award

AirTran Airways, a
subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, announced that the company,
along with its advertising agency Cramer-Krasselt, has won an Online Media,
Marketing & Advertising (OMMA) Award in the Purchase Intent/Sales category.
During Advertising Week in New York City, the Interactive Advertising Bureau
(IAB) and MediaPost Communications hosted the first OMMA Awards to honor
excellence in interactive marketing and advertising.  The award recognized the
airline’s ongoing online advertising campaign that directs customers to the
company’s award-winning website,, to purchase airline
tickets.“We continue to utilize marketing strategies that provide our customers
with the greatest level of convenience,” said Tad Hutcheson, AirTran Airways’
director of marketing.  “We are pleased to accept this award at a time when
customers value convenience more than ever.”
