AirTran and Coca-Cola Announce Beverage Contract

AirTran Airways, a
subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, announced today that the
airline signed a three-year agreement with The Coca-Cola Company to serve the beverage company’s
carbonated soft drinks, DASANI bottled water, Seagram’s non-alcoholic drink
mixers, and Minute Maid Juices on all the airline’s flights.  The exclusive
agreement covers all the airline’s non-alcoholic beverages and builds on the
two companies’ already strong 11-year partnership.AirTran Airways has led the way in offering its customers Coca-Cola
branded products.  The company was the first airline in the world to serve
DASANI bottled water, Vanilla Coke and Minute Maid Lemonade.

experience for our customers,” commented AirTran Airways President and COO
Robert L. Fornaro. “It makes sense to partner with The Coca-Cola Company as it

choice for our passengers.”
