Ramada-Treff Selects IDeaS Revenue Optimization

today announced that RAMADA-TREFF Germany has selected IDeaS Revenue Optimization to launch at key locations in Germany and Switzerland. IFH, Germany’s leading supplier of hospitality focused revenue generating solutions and an IDeaS Distribution Partner, formalized the agreement in conjunction with IDeaS’ Germany based sales organization.
“The decision to deploy revenue management was one that we had been considering for a while, having understood the clear benefits it offers to an organization such as ours,” said Marco Nussbaum, Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing for RAMADA-TREFF. “With the availability of an ASP delivered solution that affords best-of-breed functionality and that allows for easy and cost effective estate wide deployment, the business case became more obvious.”

RAMADA-TREFF is a franchisee of Ramada International with 60 hotels located throughout Germany and Switzerland. The company plans to initially launch IDeaS v5 ASP product at eight of its key locations in Germany and Switzerland. The 8 properties in Germany and Switzerland are: RAMADA-TREFF Hotel Bad Soden, RAMADA PLAZA Basel Hotel & Conference Center, RAMADA PLAZA Berlin Hotel & Suites, RAMADA Hotel Berlin Mitte, RAMADA-TREFF Page Hotel Darmstadt, RAMADA encore La Praille Geneve, RAMADA-TREFF Hotel Hamburg-Bergedorf, RAMADA Hotel Koln-Hurth. IDeaS’ ASP solution has been widely acclaimed as a breakthrough for hotel chains that require top tier revenue management expertise paired with an easily deployable front end.

The deployment of the IDeaS technology will allow them to capitalize on business opportunities that would otherwise be overlooked in an easy and cost effective manner,” said Thomas T. The IFH Group will provide all consulting, installation and training services to RAMADA-TREFF related to the introduction of the IDeaS solution.

In February 2004, IDeaS announced that IFH Group and IDeaS had formalized a partnership whereby IFH would distribute IDeaS solutions to their client base in Germany, followed by distribution in other European countries and the Middle East. By formalizing the distribution arrangement the two companies expanded a long-standing relationship, which has focused on delivering superior revenue optimization solutions, consulting and training services to the region.
