announced today that the award-winning Magnolia Hotels has selected the SynXis reservation services and technology to manage their distribution to the GDSs, the internet and their own hotel and chain website (www.magnoliahotels.com). For the first time, all three properties will be consolidated onto one chain code (MG), which played an important factor in their partner selection process. SynXis has many years of experience in successfully managing private label chain codes and currently manages over a dozen. In addition to the proven channel management tools, Magnolia Hotels will benefit from the newly released SynXis Dashboard, which provides hotels with extensive revenue management tools and includes competitive rate shopping and extranet management capabilities.

Magnolia’s award-winning Houston property is implementing the SynXis service first and will go live with its new MG chain code and booking engine using “Flash” technology on 06 October. The Dallas and Denver Magnolias will switch to the MG chain code on 28 December.
