Pelican Reservation Management System Launch Version 2.0

Pelican System announces the launch of Version 2.0, with new features for the hotelier.Pelican System has worked to advance the software and continue expanding the power, range and capability of the system to provide Pelican member hotels more choices and flexibility through the application of reservation management system.

With Pelican Version 2.0 hotels will be able to manage contracting rates for clients more accurately, with particular appeal to internet customers, travel agents, and corporate clients - the principal targeted users of the System.

Member hotels subscribe to Pelican System to streamline, speed up and sharpen their business. New features to assist this goal include a Web Promotion Engine, for package promotion, news and promotion rates delivered from the Reservation Page.

? Room Preference Protocol will allow member hotels to take care of special requests, during reservations. Room preferences can be set and selected, based on hotel requirements.

? Room Request facility. Should a guest enter a request when a desired room is unavailable, it will be automatically forwarded to the hotel, via email. This will enable the hotel to respond more quickly, and turn a reservation request into a confirmed reservation.

? Un-availability Search Report. This feature informs a hotel for which period a room which had been searched for is unavailable and help hotel to response quickly by updating room allotment to accommodate consumer demand.
