Ted Loves A Snack!

Hungry? No time to grab a
bite on the way to the airport? No worries—Ted has you covered. On
October 7, 2004, Ted will begin offering four new TedSelect SnackBoxes
containing six to eight high-quality, brand-name snack items per box. The
four unique SnackBoxes are called JumpStart, MiniMeal, QuickPick and
FunPack, and are priced at $5 each. They will be offered on flights
between two-and-a-half and three-and-a-half hours long. “Ted customers have told us they want quality, brand-name food at a good
value, a wide selection of choices and greater availability of each choice
on Ted flights,” said Sean Donohue, vice president of United Express and
Ted. “The SnackBoxes will satisfy customers’ desire for tasty food at a
good value.”

All four TedSelect SnackBoxes will be available regardless of departure
time, which is perfect for passengers traveling at mealtimes or hungry
customers at any time of day. Also, Ted is boarding larger quantities of
all varieties of the SnackBoxes, so that customers are highly likely to
receive their first choice.

The SnackBoxes will initially be available on flights between 850 and
1,440 miles, including flights between Chicago and Fort Lauderdale,
Orlando and Tampa; Denver and New Orleans; and between Washington, D.C.,
and Fort Lauderdale. Ted will continue to offer fresh, restaurant-quality
meals for purchase on flights over three-and-a-half hours.
