Blue Horizons Garden Resort Grenada, to close for 4-6 months

In the aftermath of Hurricane Ivan, the 32-room Blue Horizons Garden Resort in Grenada will be closed for four to six months so it can make necessary repairs to the property.ÊThe resort experienced no structural damage as a result of the storm but it did sustain roof and water damage. Following further assessment, additional updates as to the resort’s repair plans and exact time frame will be provided.

“We have a lot of work to do following Hurricane Ivan, but within six months, we expect to have Blue Horizons Garden Resort completely operational,” said Arnold Hopkin, owner.Ê

“While Hurricane Ivan was not a welcome guest, we’ll take this opportunity to enhance our property and make it even more appealing for our guest base of divers, nature enthusiasts and travellers seeking a tropical destination at affordable prices,” Hopkin noted.

All visitors who have reservations made directly with the resort will have their bookings cancelled and respective deposits will be refunded as soon as the banking institutions are back on-line.

People who made reservations via a tour operator or travel agent should contact them to have their holiday rebooked.
