Northwest Rewards Travelers With ‘1-2-3 Free’

Northwest Airlines today
launched its latest “1-2-3 Free” promotion, rewarding travelers for their
continued loyalty. Northwest customers can earn free travel by simply completing three (3)
qualifying roundtrips on Northwest by Jan. 31, 2005. The airline makes it
easy to earn free travel and gives customers options as to where they can
fly free, within the 48 contiguous United States and Canada or to
trans-Atlantic or trans-Pacific destinations.

For every three qualifying roundtrips flown between now and Jan. 31, 2005,
Northwest customers can earn one free domestic ticket (up to a maximum of
four free tickets) or for every six qualifying roundtrips, customers can
earn a free international ticket (up to a maximum of two free tickets).
International travel includes trans-Atlantic travel and trans-Pacific
destinations. Most fare levels qualify. Only the lowest sales fares are
not eligible for the promotion.

“Northwest is pleased to make travel even more rewarding for our
WorldPerks customers with our 1-2-3 Free promotion,” said Beth Shultis,
vice president of marketing and loyalty programs. “The 1-2-3 Free
promotion recognizes customer loyalty and permits new customers to see how
they too can ‘fly smart’ with Northwest Airlines.”

All qualifying travel must originate or terminate in the 50 United States
or Canada and be on Northwest or KLM-operated flights. The free domestic
certificates are good for travel within the 48 contiguous United States or
between the 48 contiguous United States and Canada. For Alaska and Hawaii
residents, the free domestic certificates are good for travel between
Alaska and Hawaii and the 48 contiguous United States. The free
international certificates are good for travel between all 50 United
States and Europe or Asia. Free domestic or trans-Pacific travel must take
place between Oct. 15, 2004 and June 10, 2005. Free trans-Atlantic travel
must be completed between Oct. 15, 2004 and May 23, 2005.
