Hotels and other tourism based businesses in St. Lucia were relieved this week as hurricane Ivan left St. Lucia nearly untouched. All hotel plants on the island are intact and the island is back to business as usual.There was some minor damage to the Southern and Eastern coasts which is already being rectified. The weather on the island is back to normal today with sunshine and light showers.

The St. Lucia Tourist Board sympathizes with all those islands adversely affected by hurricane Ivan.
