Taste of Spain in Seattle at Mayflower

Over one-hundred Spanish works of art
and science will be on display at the Seattle Art Museum’s Age of
Exploration Exhibit October 16th through January 2005. The Mayflower Park
Hotel in conjunction with the Seattle Art Museum (SAM) is offering the
Taste of Spain in Seattle Package, which includes two tickets to the
exhibition, and a special taste of Spain in the hotel’s award-winning
Mediterranean restaurant Andaluca.
SAM and Spain’s Patrimonio Nacional are working together to present Spain
in the Age of Exploration, 1492-1819 that will feature paintings,
sculpture, tapestries, scientific instruments, maps, armor and books.
Artists represented include Hieronymus Bosch, Titian, El Greco, Diego
Velazquez and Francisco de Goya.

The Taste of Spain in Seattle Package includes two Hotel Priority Fast-
Track Tickets to the exhibit, a beautifully appointed classic or deluxe
guestroom and valet parking. In addition, you will receive a complimentary
appetizer of grilled lamb skewers and Spanish Rioja wine in our award
winning Mediterranean restaurant, Andaluca. The Seattle Art Museum is
conveniently located within walking distance of the hotel or Metro
Transit’s ride free area provides another easy option to and from the
exhibit.

The Taste of Spain in Seattle Package starts at $179 for a beautifully
renovated classic guestroom and $199 for a deluxe room. Package cost does
not include taxes. This package is a $40 savings over individually

Built in 1927, the beautifully renovated Mayflower Park Hotel is one of
the last remaining locally owned and independent hotels in the Seattle
area. It is a member of The National Trust Historic Hotels of America(R)
that includes such other notables as The Greenbrier in West Virginia; The
Brown Palace in Denver; and The Plaza in New York. The hotel is also home
to the award-winning Martini bar, Oliver’s, and Seattle’s Best
Mediterranean Restaurant, Andaluca Restaurant.

Located at 405 Olive Way in Seattle’s retail core, the Mayflower Park
