Las Ventanas Named Top Resort of 2004

Las Ventanas al Paraiso, the Rosewood resort that has been among the world’s most heralded since it opened in 1997, has again been named the Top International Resort by the readers of prestigious Andrew Harper’s Hideaway Report.

The “World’s Best Hotels, Resorts & Hideaways” annual readers’ poll, which has been conducted for 23 years, is the oldest and among the most respected surveys of its kind. The readers of Andrew Harper’s Hideaway Report are sophisticated and discriminating frequent travelers, and this is the third time in four years that they have recognized Las Ventanas as the best international resort.

“Being named number one for a third time is a tribute to the total dedication to excellence, day in and day out, by the entire staff at Las Ventanas,” said Managing Director Luis Fernandes. “I believe what sets Las Ventanas apart is that each time we receive an award we are only motivated to work harder and ensure we earn it again the next year.”

Las Ventanas brought the highest international standards of luxury, service and pampering for the first time to Los Cabos, and played a lead role in elevating it to Mexico’s most upscale destination. Las Ventanas is dramatically located at the tip of the Baja Peninsula, nestled on fine white sands on the sparkling-blue Sea of Cortez.

The resort features: 61 exceptionally spacious suites with exquisite furnishings, unique appointments hand-crafted by Mexican artisans, individual telescopes for stargazing and magnificent panoramic views; a world-class spa at the forefront of an international trend of imbuing guests with physical, mental and spiritual renewal; signature Baja Mediterranean cuisine, served only at Las Ventanas, inspired by the region’s abundant natural resources; a Tequila & Ceviche Bar with the finest list of tequilas and most diverse ceviche menu in Mexico; a plush yacht for guest excursions; adjacent world-class golf; and an internationally recognized tennis program.
