Marriott Make Best Companies for Latinas List

For the sixth year in a row, Marriott
International, Inc. has been named to Latina Style magazine’s list of the
“50 Best Companies for Latinas to Work for in the U.S.,” according to the
August issue. Marriott was the only lodging company on the list.
Marriott is recognized for its continued commitment to diversity and
women’s leadership. For example, Marriott conducts women’s leadership
conferences, offers tuition reimbursement and provides alternative work
arrangements and a directory for discounted childcare in all 50 states.

Brendan Keegan, Marriott’s executive vice president for human resources,
said the company is proud to be included in the high-profile list and to
reach the milestone of being recognized in each of the last six years. “We
are pleased that Latina Style has acknowledged our commitment to global
diversity. We won’t be fully satisfied until every aspect of our business
reflects the rich diversity of the people and communities who touch
Marriott’s world.”
