T&C welcome new airlift from BA

The Turks and Caicos Hotel and Tourism Association (TCHTA) has welcomed the announcement of the increase in British Airways service to Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands. Association President Gary Greenwood described the news as “an excellent indicator that TCI is gaining higher European demand.”

British Airways twice weekly service will start in December and continue through March 2005. Greenwood adds “Europeans have longer vacations than US visitors - bringing more Europeans to the destination by improving access to the Turks and Caicos Islands will bring great benefit to all of the Turks and Caicos Islands - simply put: visitors who stay longer - explore more.”

Association Director Caesar Campbell adds “For many years, our resorts have witnessed a steady incline of British visitors. Demand for flights has increased and I am delighted BA is scheduling additional flights to supply the demand.”
