Jim Callaghan Joins CSM Lodging

CSM Corporation, a diversified real
estate development and acquisition company, announces today that Jim
Callaghan has joined CSM Lodging as Regional Vice President of Hotel
Operations - Eastern Region, effective immediately. Previously, Callaghan
served as General Manager of Radisson’s flagship property, the Radisson
Plaza Hotel in downtown Minneapolis, with additional responsibilities for
Minnesuing Acres, an executive retreat owned by Carlson Companies, a
position he held since 1997.
In his new role with CSM, Callaghan will be responsible for the
profitability, operations and food and beverage of sixteen hotels located
in various markets from Minneapolis to Boston.

“Jim brings strong Operations, Food and Beverage and systems knowledge and
will be a great asset to our company,” said Robin Kirk, President of CSM
Lodging. “His experience and past success have proven his ability to drive
revenue, increase quality and maximize profitability in his hotels. That
is what CSM strives to achieve in each of our properties, and we are
thrilled to have Jim as a part of our team.”

Callaghan began his professional career in 1981 as a Restaurant Manager
for Marriott International at the Marriott Twin Bridges Hotel, followed by
Food & Beverage Director positions with Holiday Inns and Registry Hotels.
In 1985, Jim joined Radisson and served in various capacities including
Food and Beverage Director, Corporate Director of Food and Beverage,
General Manager and his most recent position as General Manager of the
Radisson Plaza Hotel in downtown Minneapolis and Minnesuing Acres in
Wisconsin.

A native of Massachusetts, Jim obtained an Associate Degree with honors
from the Culinary Institute of America and graduated*censored*laude from the
University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel,
Restaurant and Travel Administration. In addition, Jim holds a Master of
Business Administration degree in International Business from the
University of Miami, Florida. He is an active participant in local
industry associations including his current position on the Board of
Directors of the Minneapolis Hotel and Lodging Association. Callaghan also
served as past Vice President of the Minneapolis Hotel Association from
1999-2000 and as a former member of the Board of Directors of the Greater
Minneapolis Chamber of Commerce from 1998-2002.
