The Bodyholiday at LeSport Introduces the ‘New’ Oasis Spa

10th Aug 2004

The BodyHoliday at LeSPORT, St. Lucia, has greatly enhanced its Oasis spa facility. The year-long project is now complete with therapists fully trained in new treatments and techniques, including a vast array of Ayurvedic, holistic and rejuvenation therapies and rituals. Along with the new spa menu, the facility’s 34 treatment rooms have been totally upgraded and refurbished. Spa Director Eve Joseph of the UK has initiated these changes and brought in Jane Ross as Spa Manager.
Guests of the resort still receive one treatment daily included in The BodyHoliday’s rate-except for day of arrival and day of departure-and now there are separate menus for men and women. Elemis techniques and products, which are organic and of the highest quality, are now featured for the exceptionally luxuriating and caring treatments. Offerings include body treatments, facials, wraps, hydrotherapy, nurturing massage for mothers-to-be, and much more. Guests can opt for additional treatments or couples’ therapies at an added cost.

Ayurveda rituals include Abhyanga (synchronized massage by two therapists), Udvartana (detox and herbal steam), Mukhralepa (holistic facial), Prana Breath Therapy (for upper respiratory track conditions), yoga medicinal therapy and others. Ayoma products of natural herbal ingredients are used.

Holistic and rejuvenation therapies include acupuncture; aroma hot stone massage; Suikodo Chinese Bodywork; Shiatsu; myofascia release; bathing rituals; lifestyle consultation; iridology, which includes nutrition; and more. A few of the Indonesian natural therapy rituals include Balinese massage, Javanese Lulur, Reiki and a pre-wedding ritual. Therapists from India and Bali augment the Oasis staff. Ayurveda, holistic and rejuvenation therapies are at an added cost.

The BodyHoliday’s daily rate covers accommodation; all meals; alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages; land and water sports, with instruction; fitness and stress management classes; a program of treatments in the Oasis; hotel taxes; and gratuities.

The wide range of sports offerings includes scuba diving; waterskiing; sailing; unlimited golf greens fees on the nearby 18-hole course, with transfers; fencing; tennis; and much more. Fitness and stress management classes range from aqua aerobics to Pilates, yoga and more.

Depending on type of room and time of year, the daily per person rate based on double occupancy now through December 21, 2005 ranges from $242-$463, except for the Christmas/New Year’s period. Garden view rooms for singles-with no supplementary charge-range from $260-$388.

The BodyHoliday at LeSPORT is the world’s first holiday to combine the pleasure of personalized rejuvenation with the opportunities to acquire skills and insights that will enhance the rest of a guest’s life. There are 154 rooms and suites on 18 tropical acres and 300 yards of secluded Cariblue Beach.
