today announced they have signed an agreement with Wyndham International,
Inc. to provide Expedia.com(R) and Hotels.com customers with access to
inventory at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and Summerfield Suites(R) properties.As part of the agreement, 130 properties from Wyndham’s North American
brand portfolio are available to travelers via the vacation package and
hotel offerings on Expedia(R) and Hotels.com. The agreement provides
Wyndham with a marketing channel to efficiently reach the nearly 30
million customers shopping for travel each month on the two sites.
“We are excited about this agreement, which enables Expedia and Hotels.com
customers to continue shopping for the many upscale and luxury properties
in the Wyndham network,” said Lloyd Frink, senior vice president of
supplier relations at Expedia and Hotels.com. “We look forward to working
with Wyndham to expand its reach among our large customer base.”
Today’s announcement builds on Wyndham’s relationship with Expedia’s
WWTE(TM) private-label service. Since 2002, WyndhamVacations.com has
offered vacation packages to customers via WWTE technology and inventory.
