is planning to shed 350 staff, which is 14% of its workforce, in a bid to reduce costs by 10% next year.The company plans to close down 10 of its 25 offices next year.


Brent Hoberman, CEO, lastminute, has revealed that the cuts were necessary due to duplication of staff roles following the company’s recent acquisitions.

The news broke as lastminute reported third quarter profits had risen despite “difficult” market conditions.


Commenting on the 3Q results, Brent Hoberman said: “Whilst the outlook for the final quarter of the financial year remains challenging, we remain confident of making further significant progress”.
