Expanding its operations to America’s
Midwest region, Luxe Worldwide Hotels President and CEO, Efrem Harkham
announced today the opening of Luxe’s New Orleans office. Key to the
expansion is the appointment of Stacey Messina as Vice-President of
Business Development, Midwestern U.S.A. There are a total of 12 Luxe
regional offices worldwide.
“Stacey Messina’s experience in travel industry sales, electronic
distribution and communications will enhance Luxe’s brand and its regional
and international sales and marketing efforts,” Harkham says.

Messina’s prior executive positions include serving most recently as
Director of Travel Industry Sales for the Fairmont New Orleans. Prior to
her term at Fairmont, she earned the core of her hospitality experience
acting as Director of Membership Services The Americas and global Director
of Electronic Distribution for SRS-WORLDHOTELS, based in New York City and
then at the organization’s global headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany.
Prior to returning to the United States, she spent six months in Barcelona
consulting for Spain’s SERCOTEL HOTELES INDEPENDIENTES.
