Princess outline Caribbean itinary 2005-06

Caribbean cruise goers will continue to benefit from Princess’ commitment to the region during 2005-06, as an extensive selection of 11 itineraries will cover 25 ports in the tropical waters Western, Eastern and Southern Caribbean. Six Princess ships will sail on seven-day, 10-day and 14-day itineraries from Ft. Lauderdale, San Juan and Galveston, each offering a blend of Caribbean culture.  New this season, the line debuts a series of longer Caribbean adventures with a series of two new 14-day itineraries aboard Sea Princess, one of which will also include a new port of call for the line, the unspoiled island of Bonaire.

In total, four ships - Caribbean Princess, Grand Princess, Star Princess and Golden Princess - will offer seven-day itineraries, while Sun Princess features alternating 10-day itineraries and Sea Princess debuts the new 14-day itineraries.

“Our Caribbean program really will offer the finest fleet in the region,” said Jan Swartz, Princess’ senior vice president of customer service and sales. “Having the youngest fleet, with an average age of five years, means our passengers enjoy some of the newest features afloat, including our renowned Movies Under the Stars poolside movie screen. And our ships have the highest percentage of balconies in the Caribbean, with more than half our staterooms sporting this popular feature.”
