Hotels.com Launches Trip Assist

A new alliance has been formed that will allow Hotels.com customers to purchase a short-term roadside assistance and concierge service program, Trip Assist. Under the exclusive agreement, Trip Assist will be available to travelers booking hotel accommodations online with Hotels.com.
“We know our customers feel confident when making a hotel reservation with Hotels.com. With more travelers driving to their vacation destinations, Trip Assist ensures that same level of confidence while our customers travel to and from their hotel whether it is with local weather information or actual roadside assistance,” said Cheryl Rosner, president of Hotels.com. “Trip Assist perfectly complements Hotels.com Road Trips(TM) as a valuable resource for our customers. Nation Safe Drivers is just the right partner to deliver it.”

“Nation Safe Drivers recognizes that with the rising costs of air travel and other factors influencing travel abroad more Americans will choose to vacation closer to home. Now travelers can feel reassured knowing that Nation Safe Drivers and Hotels.com are in a position to make the trip safer, more affordable and more enjoyable for them and their families,” stated John Moore, director of client relations for Nation Safe Drivers.

Trip Assist is an extensive roadside assistance and concierge services program. Roadside assistance coverage includes emergency towing, gas delivery, tire changes, lockout services, jump starts, $300 trip interruption and a toll-free number. Concierge services include such benefits as airline schedules, golf course and restaurant locators, weather reports, driving directions, traffic information and directory assistance.

Accessible from the reservation confirmation page, travelers booking accommodations online via http://www.hotels.com can choose to purchase Trip Assist services for $9.99. Once travelers choose to purchase Trip Assist, benefits are available as often as needed from one day before each trip begins to one day after the trip ends for trips lasting up to 21 days. Travelers will be able to use the Trip Assist Roadside Assistance and Concierge services by calling a toll-free number. For details see the Hotels.com website.
