British Airways kicks off “Winter
in July” today by introducing an unprecedented three-day sale to London
and over 20 other European destinations for travel this winter. Roundtrip
prices to London start at $318 from San Francisco with special hotel rates
starting at $39.
In addition to London, 20 cities in Europe also are on sale. Sample prices
include San Francisco to Paris for $384 roundtrip, Rome for $459 roundtrip
and Barcelona for $434 roundtrip.

Hotels are also on sale in London starting at $39 per person per night at
the Royal National. Six other hotels in London, with ratings ranging from
2- to 4 stars, are also featured along with hotels on sale in Paris,
Prague, Madrid, Rome and Stockholm.

The lowest fares will be available for travel from Oct. 28 to Dec. 16,
2004, and again from Dec. 24, 2004, to Feb. 27, 2005. Other sale fares are
available for travel from Feb. 28, 2005, all the way through May 29, 2005.

Tickets must be purchased at least seven days in advance of departure.
Minimum stay is one Saturday night and maximum stay is 11 months. Economy
fares are based on midweek travel, Monday-Wednesday; a $30 surcharge will
be applied for weekend (Thursday-Sunday) travel in each direction. A
stopover in London will be permitted in one direction for passengers
purchasing the European sale fares.

Reduced rates to London and Europe for travel in the shoulder season, Dec.
17 - 31, 2004, and March 14 - May 29, 2005, are also available.

Economy fares are subject to availability and do not include government
taxes and fees of approximately $102 plus a $2.50 September 11th security
fee. Fares quoted are available for sale through Thursday midnight EDT,
July 22.
