Four Seasons to Rename Jakarta Property

Four Seasons Hotels and
Resorts is pleased to announce that The Regent Jakarta will be officially
re-named Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta today.
Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta is better than ever, having just completed an
extensive refurbishment programme. A completely renovated Ballroom and
four function rooms have now expanded the availability of function space
and the stunning new Spa adds a new level of pampering to both guests and
locals in Jakarta. The Hotel’s dedicated management and staff will
continue to provide guests with the consistent, personalised and
anticipatory service they have come to expect of Four Seasons worldwide.

“Four Seasons has managed this prestigious property for more than eight
years now and it has become the premier address in Jakarta. As Four
Seasons continues to grow, especially in Asia, the time is right to rename
the hotel,” said Wolf Hengst, president, worldwide hotel operations, Four
Seasons Hotels and Resorts. “Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta embodies core Four
Seasons operating and cultural standards and offers international guests
experiences of exceptional quality.”

When the 365-room Regent Jakarta opened its doors in 1995, it set new
standards of luxury in Indonesia, and provided a true “home away from
home” for global business travellers. Four Seasons continues to build
recognition and a loyal following as the company expands its portfolio in
Asia. Award- winning Four Seasons hotels and resorts are already located
in Bali (in Jimbaran Bay and Sayan); the Maldives; Singapore; Bangkok;
Chiang Mai; Tokyo; Shanghai and Sydney. The company’s first resort in
Malaysia, in Langkawi, is currently scheduled to open in early 2005. Four
Seasons Hotel Hong Kong, a landmark building that is part of the
prestigious Hong Kong Station in the city’s Central district and financial
core, is currently slated to open in mid-2005.
