CMS Hospitality Selects IDeaS for Revenue Optimization

IDeaS announced that CMS Hospitality has selected IDeaS as a CMS Preferred Partner. IDeaS and CMS reached agreement on the technology alliance following detailed discussions at the 2004 HITEC trade show held in Dallas, Texas.
“We have been actively looking for a revenue management partner for the last 6 months,” said Brian Manning, Managing Director at CMS Hospitality. “After evaluating several yield vendors from both a company and systems point of view we decided that IDeaS is the right partner for us. They offer market leadership along with a proven global track record and a strong local presence in the Asia Pacific region.”

“CMS’s GuestCentrix Hospitality software has been deployed very successfully throughout the region,” said Grahame Tate, Managing Director of IDeaS in Asia Pacific. “It’s our goal to work closely with CMS to ensure their customers, who want to deploy revenue optimization, can do so easily, and thereby quickly gain all the benefits revenue optimization affords.”

As the hotel industry has become more complex, the trend to deploy advanced revenue optimization solutions has migrated from being an application utilized by upscale hotels to being used throughout the industry at properties of all shapes and sizes. “Revenue management has become mission critical to many hoteliers. As a result it’s an application that we are now seeing significant demand for throughout our client base,” added Manning.
