Marriott to Open Second Rennaissance ClubSport Hotel

Marriott International and Leisure Sports today announced plans to open a second Renaissance
ClubSport Hotel. The boutique-style hotel and sports and fitness
resort will be part of a new development phase at the master planned
Summit Office Campus located in Aliso Viejo, an upscale planned community
in Orange County, Calif. Groundbreaking is expected by year end, and the
hotel is scheduled to open in early 2006. The property is being developed
by Parker Properties and will operate as a Renaissance franchise, managed
by Leisure Sports, Inc.

With distinctive architecture and colorful furnishings, Renaissance
ClubSport is a world-class hotel and sports and fitness resort concept
that appeals to both business and leisure travelers. The Aliso Viejo
location will mirror the highly successful Renaissance ClubSport in Walnut
Creek, Calif., and will feature a 175-room hotel and a 67,300-square-foot
membership-based sports club with state-of-the-art cardiovascular, circuit
and free weight equipment, an NCAA-regulation gymnasium, basketball,
volleyball, racquetball and squash courts, group exercise studios, and
fully appointed locker rooms. An outdoor aquatic area will offer three
swimming pools, a whirlpool, bocce courts and a garden patio for special
events. Weekly group exercise classes led by top area and celebrity
instructors will include step, cycling, yoga, Pilates, tai chi, kickboxing
and more.

Guests who stay at the Renaissance ClubSport Hotel will have full access
to the fitness resort at no additional charge. They can also take
advantage of the “Fitness Concierge,” an on-property fitness expert who
will provide a guided tour of the facilities and detailed information on
the services and amenities provided.

“ClubSport illustrates the essence of Renaissance—lifestyle-driven
elements accented by fashionable and stylish design and attentive and
respectful service,” said Sid Yu, senior vice president, full-service
brand management, Marriott International. “The reaction to the first
Renaissance ClubSport was overwhelmingly positive, and we’re very excited
to partner with Leisure Sports again.”

“We are very excited to continue to grow the Renaissance ClubSport brand.
Our concept of combining a world-class fitness resort with an upscale
hotel has made it easier for travelers to maintain their healthy lifestyle
on the road, while providing a much needed amenity for the community,”
said Scott Pickert, executive vice president of Leisure Sports.
