Phuket Air Launches New Gatwick-Bankok Service
Phuket Air, will launch its new Gatwick - Bangkok service on 1st July 2004. Gatwick will become Phuket Air’s third international service and it will be the only airline to fly the route.From 1st July, Phuket Air will fly the Gatwick - Bangkok route three times per week and it will be served with a Boeing 747 aircraft with capacity for 26 business class and 440 economy class seats.
“Thailand is one of Britain’s favourite holiday destinations and we felt that there was enough capacity in the market for Phuket Air to start its thrice weekly service to Bangkok,” said Gordon MacFarland, Phuket Air Manager UK & Ireland. “We want people to experience the welcoming Thai culture as they begin their journey at Gatwick and receive more attention and a better service from our cabin crew.”
“We are really excited about the expansion of Phuket Air to the UK,” Macfarland added. “We already fly to Dubai and further international routes are planned for later this year,”
