Lee Iacocca Joins SmartJets

SmartJets, the innovator of “Time
Ownership” in the private jet travel industry, announced that former
Chairman of Chrysler Corporation and President of Ford Lee Iacocca has
joined its advisory board as Chairman. SmartJets combined fractional
ownership benefits with the customer-driven needs of all private jet
travelers to create a new, unmatched niche of private jet service.
SmartJets Time Ownership concept minimizes long-term commitment and costs,
while maximizing aircraft quality, superior service and flying flexibility.
As Chairman of the Advisory Board, Iacocca will assist in directing
management, serve as a spokesperson in SmartJets’ ad campaigns, and appear
at company-sponsored events. Iacocca is best known for saving the Chrysler
Corporation from bankruptcy.
