On Command Video Corporation announced today that its in-room, online Walled Garden Concierge service is now fully launched and successfully operating in key hotel operations throughout the United States and Canada.
Walled Garden Concierge is the first-ever hotel-specific, fully customized, interactive guest informant available on the television menu system. Hotels can promote any service they offer, deliver personalized messaging to guests, integrate hotel booking and point-of-sale systems, and promote loyalty programs directly on the television.
“Best of all, we provide hotels with the ability to manage, store and change the text and images using a simple interface to their walled garden site directly from a secure PC connection,” said Tad Walden, senior vice president of marketing and programming for On Command.
On Command has launched the service in several U.S. properties. Customized designs are done in conjunction with hotel service providers including Book for Golf for booking tee times and Newmarket Inteconatroual for conference room scheduling. The Walled Garden Concierge feature is supported by On Command’s CANVAS(TM) menu system, and can work directly with other application program interfaces to develop the best interactive products for the hotel and its guests.
