TQ3 Travel Solutions Strengthens its Position in the US

TQ3 Travel Solutions has strengthened its position in the US since Navigant International Inc., the second largest travel management business services provider in North America, announced the acquisition of Northwestern Travel Service.  Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Northwestern Travel has been in business for over thirty years and has since grown to become the twelfth largest travel management company in the United States. Commenting on the transaction, Navigant Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Edward S. Adams, stated, “This is an excellent financial and strategic transaction for Navigant and further builds the critical mass of our North Central Region operations.  Nortwestern Travel shares a common approach and philosophy with Navigant in our commitment to superior customer service, the development of innovative technologies and dedication to creating cost-savings for our clients. Additionally, the combination of Northwestern Travel and Navigant’s meetings and incentive’s operations, positions us as one of the top providers of meeting and incentive programmes and services in the US. Our growth in this area allows us to provide more ‘vertical’ offerings to existing clients and to cross-sell corporate travel management and meetings and incentives to clients.”

TQ3 Travel Solutions’ Global Chief Operating Officer, Toby Joseph, added, “This latest purchase, within such an important strategic market, demonstrates how our TQ3 continues to strengthen its position within the US and worldwide - further solidifying our ability to effectively serve our customers by delivering fast, comprehensive, flexible and creative solutions to travel management needs.”
