The world-renowned Kapalua Resort has become the permanent home of LifeFest, the premier health and wellness event of Hawai’i featuring inspiring lectures and panels by some of the country’s leading wellness experts, fitness events, culinary celebrations, cultural activities, and more.Scheduled this year for September 23 to 26, 2004, the event is being renamed “LifeFest Kapalua,” and will headline Dr. Andrew Weil, MD, a Harvard-trained physician and one of the country’s most renowned authorities in the field of wellness.  Dr. Weil, an international bestselling author, has been called “America’s best known doctor” by New York Times Magazine.

LifeFest Kapalua 2004 will include fun fitness activities; the island’s largest “Fit for Life” Health Expo; fitness exhibitions; a sumptuous “Hale ØAina Maui” culinary affair; continuing education programs (CME) for physicians and health practitioners; a benefit concert and more.
