Government Officials Encouraged to Fly Thai

Thai Airways International is offering a special discount of 5% for Thai government officials traveling on business or leisure when they travel on any of THAI’s domestic routes, effective 1 June 2004 onwards. Mr. Suthep Suebsantiwongse, THAI’s Executive Vice President for Commercial, said that government officials may make payment for these air tickets in cash or by credit card. Tickets may be issued as e-tickets when making reservations by telephone or in person. At check-in, government officials are required to show their government identification card along with a credit card (for payment by credit card) or government identification card only (for payment by cash).
