Sentient Jet Names Industry Veteran Hankin as CEO

Sentient Jet, the pioneer and
leader in private jet membership, has named travel industry veteran Steven
M. Hankin Chief Executive Officer of the company. Mr. Hankin, 43, comes to
Sentient from Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide , where he was Chief
Marketing Officer and President of its STARS (Starwood Technology and
Revenue Systems) unit. Sentient Jet Chairman Harvey Golub, in making the announcement following a
record first quarter for Sentient, noted Hankin’s extensive marketing and
branding experience in the travel industry made him the ideal executive
for the position.

Mr. Hankin replaces Mark Stone, who was Sentient CEO for two years and led
the company to its current leadership position. While at Starwood for more
than four years, Hankin’s hallmark was his ability to integrate technology
and marketing to drive revenue and enhance customer loyalty. Prior to
joining Starwood in 1999, he was Partner at McKinsey & Company, Inc., the
international management and consulting firm, where he specialized in the
travel and transportation industries. Mr. Hankin holds an MBA from the
Darden School, University of Virginia, and a BS from the Wharton School,
University of Pennsylvania.

“We view Steve Hankin as a perfect CEO for Sentient as the company enters
a new growth phase as the leader in an industry segment with enormous
growth potential,” said Mr. Golub. “With the substantial limitations in
traditional commercial aviation and fractional jet ownership, Sentient
Jet, coming off a record first quarter in sales, has the opportunity to
become the preferred method of air travel for a significant number of
business and leisure flyers.

“At Starwood, Steve demonstrated the ability to strengthen brands, build a
strong costumer relationship management program and develop innovative
partnerships to increase market share and customer loyalty, which will
suit him well in this vastly expanding marketplace,” Mr. Golub added.

“Sentient already has a strong track record of innovation and I’m excited
about the opportunity to bring my experiences from Starwood to help
Sentient grow aggressively with new products and new marketing
approaches,” said Mr. Hankin. “I look forward to working with the Sentient
team and Board to achieve great results for our members, operators,
partners and employees.”
