Worldspan Announces Expanded Fare Pact With US Airways

Worldspan
today announced an agreement to
expand Worldspan’s access to US Airways fare data, including all publicly
available fares and those fares available via US Airways’ reservations
offices, its Web site at usairways.com, and third-party Web sites. The
agreement will provide comprehensive inventory and fare content, including
Web fares, to Worldspan’s traditional and online travel agency retailers
in North America.

“Worldspan is pleased to announce an agreement with US Airways that takes
another significant stride towards bringing the best and most complete
fare content to our valued travel agency partners,” said Mike Parks,
senior vice president and general manager - Worldwide Travel Distribution
for Worldspan. “We continue to deliver value through our agency
distribution channel while supporting US Airways’ goal of lowering its
distribution costs.”

“We are pleased to work collaboratively with Worldspan to make our Web
fares more widely available, and at the same time manage our distribution
costs,” said B. Ben Baldanza, US Airways senior vice president of
Marketing and Planning. “We believe this agreement is positive for our
traveling customers, travel agents, Worldspan and US Airways.”

Expanded fare content from US Airways will be available in the Worldspan
system on Wednesday.
